We know that there’s widespread concern in our community about the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), and I want you to know that your health is our top priority at Renee Slaven, LICSW PLLC.
With the increasing uncertainty and growing number of infected individuals around the world, I encourage you to take responsibility for yourself and your family. At this time, I am preparing to offer Telehealth services in cases of voluntary/involuntary isolation due to symptoms. I will be using Simple Practice which uses a HIPAA compliant audio/visual platform to offer counseling services (ie. like Skype). Most insurance companies cover telehealth appointments. In the wake of COVID-19, it is likely that they will cover an increasing number of telehealth appointments as well. If you have questions about your telemedicine coverage for mental health, please contact your insurance company.
If you would prefer telehealth, please let me know as soon as possible. Should I need to move solely to telehealth as opposed to in-person appointments, you will be notified immediately.
