As an Approved Clinical Supervisor in Washington, I have found that finding the right supervisor in your early years as a practitioner is critical. I have extensive experience in supervising Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Mental Health Counselors. If you are seeking supervision towards licensure or wanting more specific supervision on your clinical work with young children, adolescents, and youth utilizing CBT, I believe I have the training and experience to support your work with individuals.
Please review the Washington State Department of Health website for current supervision hours and requirements. Distance Supervision is also available for anyone unable to meet in person and approved by WA DOH for a limited number of hours.
Some factors I would consider in exploring supervisors include:
Someone who specializes in areas that are of interest to you;
Aligns in values in practice;
Someone who encourages insightfulness and growth as a practitioner;
Someone who will encourage you to explore areas of discomfort as well as strengths
Approved Clinical Supervision post Masters Fees:
